Solution : Download the latest drivers from the Network Adapter manufacturers website and run the latest driver installation package to fix the issue. Before you download the driver check the present installed driver version number and cross the check with the latest one available for download from manufacturers website. Note: Do not try updating from the Windows Update Server, this will not fix the issue.
I have tested this solution on 2 of my friends laptops, a Acer Ultraslim and Dell XPS Ultra Slim. So far it seems to be ok.
